LBL was founded in 1993 to promote the sport of Lacrosse in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The organization strives to emphasize the development of boy and girl lacrosse players, emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and discipline.
Lower Bucks Lacrosse girl's teams participate in the Philadelphia Area Girls’ Lacrosse Association.
The mission of the Philadelphia Area Girls’ Lacrosse Association, a non-profit organization, is to promote the game of girls lacrosse in township recreation programs for girls up to eighth grade, by facilitating communication among all programs on coaching techniques, rules, umpires, game schedules and other lacrosse events.
PAGLA was formed about 17 years ago by Catherine D'Ignazio and several other women who wanted to promote the sport of lacrosse to girls in our area. PAGLA consists of four regional divisions that are each comprised of a number of girl’s lacrosse teams that play together in a league.
