It brings us incredible joy to see players back on the field the past two weeks during summer camp at Middletown Park. The smiles on their sweaty faces are a great reminder of our mission, to, above all else, emphasize the development of our players both on and off the field. We exist as an organization to serve our community.
Lower Bucks Lacrosse is privileged to support the positive character and athletic development of the girls and boys in our community. We are a league of inclusion, and strive to teach, listen and grow with our players. We are saddened and angered by the stark reminders of racial inequality in our country and will continue to champion this great sport’s ability to bring people together on and off the field.
For the many who feel the weight of hate, prejudice and oppression, we hear you and want to be part of the solution. We want all people to feel welcome in our program so that we can develop into our best selves together. As a league, we demand respectful treatment of others, in actions and words. Thank you for your support of our league and entrusting us to be a positive influence on your children. We take that responsibility seriously and are committed to ensure that the highest standards of behavior, equality and character development are maintained.
Thank you to all the LBL alumni who applied for our 2020 Stephanie Magnone and Jerry Middlemiss scholarship awards. Your accomplishments on and off the field are incredible and we know that each of you will have great success in the next leg of your academic and athletic journeys.
