There are a MULTITUDE of ways you can pitch in and help with Lower Bucks Lacrosse. We have detailed our committee and coordinator positions below, but please don’t let this stop you from coming up with a great new idea to help out the program! Contact Us to volunteer or provide feedback.
Sign Up Process
In accordance with PA state law, any and all board members, coaches and volunteers must complete the following process to volunteer with Lower Bucks Lacrosse.

Complete the LBL Volunteer Registration

Complete the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Criminal History Clearance

Complete the Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services

Complete one of the following:

Arrest/Conviction/Report and Certification Form (if you HAVE lived in PA for 10 consecutive years)

FBI Clearance (if you HAVE NOT lived in PA for 10 consecutive years). PA Code is 1KG6XN.

When you receive your reports and/or certificates back from all of the above, please email to clearances@lblax.org.
In addition, the following locations are equipped to fingerprint you for your FBI clearance. You must schedule an appointment online first.

Have you completed all the necessary paperwork and recieved your clearance reports? Email a copy to clearances@lblax.org by following address by March 1, 2023.

BACKGROUND CHECKS / PA Clearances

Collect and coordinate all clearances required by PA law for ALL volunteers in Lower Bucks Lacrosse.
Uniforms
Jan DiLallo
Coordinate the distribution of uniform orders for all players
Equipment / Coaches Bags / Goals
Brian Tully
Coordinate the ordering of equipment for the spring season. Maintain the equipment inventory. Refresh coaches bags and goalie bags.
Field Lining
OPEN
Coordinate the initial field lining and maintain a schedule of volunteers to keep our fields lined throughout the spring season.
Sponsorships
OPEN
Organize and carry out various fund raising events to benefit the organization. Identify a program to solicit individual and business sponsorship for tournaments and other special events.
Laxapalooza
Kate Conaway
Coordinate the end of the year extravaganza, Laxapalooza.
League Representatives
Michael Lee (PAGLA), Andy Gelhoff (SEPYLA)
Attend scheduled PAGLA / SEPYLA meetings to represent LBL and communicate important information to the LBL Board and coaches. Vote on behalf of LBL regarding motions / decisions made at PAGLA meetings. Verify all coaches are aware of new rules and directives put forth by the league.
Swag
Missy Thau & Jessica Merz
Ordering and distribution of the uniforms for all of the players and coaches in the league. Organize periodic SWAG sales and communicate to the LBL membership. Schedule uniform fitting days during the open registration period.
LMT Parks & Rec Liaison

Attend and represent LBL at Parks & Rec meetings for Lower Makefield township.
Middletown Parks & Rec Liaison
OPEN
Attend and represent LBL at Parks & Rec meetings for Middletown township.
Registration
OPEN
Develop a plan to market and drive registration for all LBL programs. Coordinate the posting of yard signs in the communities covered by LBL.
Team Positions
Each of our teams also needs help with day to day tasks and game day duties. Check out the opportunities below to see how you can help your coach provide a great experience for the team.
Head Coach
Responsible for the development of players during the season through challenging practices and game preparation. Leads the team on game day using Positive Coaching techniques.
Assistant Coach
Assist the Head Coach in leading the player development, practice planning and execution and game day activities.
Team Parent
Organizes team events and game day snacks/logistics if the team desires, helps the coach in communicating with parents
Field Liner
Volunteers to refresh the lines on the fields throughout the season (we pay a professional to do the first set of lines)
Game Day Setup
Helps the team setup the cones, goals and scoreboard on game day
